We assemble at the Sun Yat Sen Gardens on Pender Street in Chinatown...as promised, it is a sunny 16 day.

Mechanical Camera Day #1Steveston, April 8, 2007

It's Day #1.
Equipped with our trusty, dusty mechanical cameras,
we're trying to remember the "cloudy 8" exposure rule.
We've embarked on a day's outing to Steveston;
Garry Point Park, Steveston village, Finn Slough and
a restorative Tea at London Farm.

It feels like a holiday in the city; a shift in landscape,
bird song, little green buds and a lovely spring breeze.

We're sending in the rolls of film and the next post
will tell us the results.

We're getting together to see if we can
remember life before digital cameras.

And, we even have a CONTEST
to help get us started.
